Gods must be crazy is one of the funniest comedy films I have ever watched. It is a classic film; made in the 1980s. Yet, it has a very unique style and I have never seen anything like it, other than the 2nd part of this film. (Gods must be crazy 2). The film is narrated around a native African man, who goes on a journey to find the edge of the world. Everything begins with a glass bottle that was thrown out of an Airplane. A native bushman found it and bring it to his clan. They believe that it is a gift from God as it was dropped down from the sky. Everything changes when this bottle causes damages to the unity of their clan. People began to quarrel over the bottle. The village elders conclude that this bottle is not a gift from God but a curse. They believe that they have to get rid of it by throwing it off the edge of the world. A man set foot on a journey to fulfill that decision. He is also the one who found this bottle. On the way to the edge of the world, the tribe man...

Wali Pauru is a tragic film, narrated around a story told by an old man who lives in an elder's home. A girl from England visits the elder's home. She talks to residents in the home and collects their life stories. This film based on one of those stories.  This story is tragic because the old man who tells this story loses everything including his house, his wife, his children, and even his pension fund before finally entering into this house. Anyway, this is not the story of all the elders in Sri Lanka; but the number is rising. More and more elders in the country are facing similar problems because they are mistreated by their families. On the other hand, all of them are not as lucky as the old man in the story. Their lives are even more miserable. Some people don't even have elders home to stay. They ended up in the street as beggars or in asylums as mentally unstable patients. Some people have no one to take care of them even if they have enough money to spend....

Joker is one of the most anticipated Hollywood films in the year 2019. This film is narrated around the famous comic character known as the Joker. Joker is the super-villain in the batman series. He has no superpowers; instead, he uses his chemical engineering knowledge to build super weapons. The film tells us the possible origin of the joker. According to the story of this film,   Arthur Fleck is a mentally ill person who lives with his mother in a shitty apartment. His life is a complete tragedy; there is nor happiness neither love in it. He works as a clown with a small group. Even they don't like him as a friend. One day, a group of teenagers beets him for no reason while he is performing in the street. That day, one of his group members hands him a gun to protect himself from getting beaten again. That is the first turning point of his tragic life. But the major twist of his life is the day he kills three people. Those three are not at all innocent; in fac...

Rat Race is a genuine comedy with lots of funny stuff. It is narrated around 6 strange groups.  They are racing each other; not for nothing but two million US Dollars. It is an offer made by a casino owner. For him and his punter friends, this is the most anticipated casino event of the year. Not only they watch the race but also control it as they desire. The rat race is an old film with golden touches. The story is so unique and different from all the comedies I have ever watched. In a way, it shows how influential a bag of money could be. It can change a man upside down and bring a side which no one has ever seen. In short, money can bring the Mr.Hyde of anyone. In this film, this transformation shows hilariously. But it is not hilarious all the time. It has turned most of us into machines with no human hearts.  We all are in a race. In which we chase money, success, luxury, etc..etc...We don't see the void until we are too late to turn around. So, while laughin...

Running with the devil is an amazing film from the USA. It is narrated around a team of drug suppliers who are willing to do anything to keep their drug supply chain uninterrupted. The film is a thriller with some fantastic actions. I choose to watch this film because of the leading actor Nicolas Cage. I love this Ghost rider and have watched almost all his films. Even though some of his recent films have not reached the average standards, this one has. The plot has some minor flaws but overall it is a good story. There are so many unexpected twists in this film. Some twists are bloody and some twists are brutal.  But that can be expected from a film narrated around a strong drug cartel. Dealing with drugs and drug dealers is like dealing with fire. You never know when you get to burn. That is the message we can gain from this particular film. This is a low budget film. According to facts available on the internet, this film was a box office failure. I have seen wo...

Rambo is not just a movie name. It is a legend; a milestone in the movie world. The first Rambo film was based on a popular novel called "First blood". There were 4 Rambo films before the Rambo: last blood. All previous Rambo films were immensely popular among movie fans. The latest Rambo film is not even nearly as good as any of those previous Rambo films. I had high hopes for this film. At the end of the film, my hopes for a good Rambo film were shattered to pieces. This was not the Rambo version I have had in my mind. Rambo looks pretty old in this movie. That, I can accept. He is slow and less aggressive. I can accept that too. Rambo is old and he couldn't possibly be as energetic as the guy he used to be in the past. But, instead of showing off his disabilities, this old guy should have stayed behind the screen. He should have let us, his biggest fans to keep his old memories pure and strong. For us, Rambo is a war hero, not a whore hero.  Leading...

"Angles has fallen" is the third installment of the "fallen" movie series. All three "fallen" films are top quality and fast-phased action-packed thriller films. I am a big fan of the "fallen" movie series.  That is why I wanted to say something about there latest "fallen" episode.  Agent Mike is the hero of all three fallen movies. He is not as hot as Agent bond; but equally talented and unlike Bond, faithful to his wife.  "Angel Has fallen" has an almost similar plot to the other two "fallen" films.  The plot is as follows. Bad guys try to destroy the president of the USA. Agent Mike fight against bad guys. At the end of the day, Agent Mike wins.  I will not tell you any more about the plot of the film. Overall, it is a good enough story to enjoy and feel. On the other hand, the overall quality of the film does not cross the line of excellent. Something is missing. I am not sure what. But I did not feel...
