Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar (2019)...A TV movie worth watching
Agatha Christie. as we all know is a Crime writer not a detective or a person who solves mysteries. But according to this amazing film she is. The world of movies is a place for creative people with creative minds. One can make their imaginations running wild in this special world. This film is a perfect example for that. It has made an extraordinary detective out of an ordinary crime novelist.
Anyway I have know clue how the real Agatha Christie looks like. I have not even seen her real life picture. But the lady in the film is not enough attractive for me. That is the only thing I did not like about this film. Just because she is an author, it does not mean that she couldn't be sexier and hotter. Anyway, it is just a minor issue and it does not change the quality of the content of the film.
The film is narrated around a series of murders which happens in an archeological digging site in Iraq. Agatha is there not to solve mysteries but as a visitor to enjoy some quite time. But that is the last thing she gets from there. Instead she is facing a massive turmoil which includes a series of murders as well. Apart from solving mysteries she also gets a chance to taste some love and romance as well. Perhaps it is the gift she receives from the Goddess Ishtar; after all
Ishtar is the Goddess of love, beauty, sex, war, justice and political power. Ishtar's curse is definitely not against Agatha. In fact she is blessed by the powers of Goddess. And in the end Justice wins.
Agatha and the curse of Ishtar is not a film film . It is a TV film which was premiered in UK channel 5. But it is a good one. I would definitely recommend it for you. But do not expect to see too much out of it.
