Saamy square (2018) Action packed Tamil film

This film is also knows as the Saamy 2. Actually there is a previous film sequel to this one called Sammy. Both films are Tamil language films and the Hero is the Tamil action hero Vikram. The story is obviously has a connection with the previous film. But one can enjoy this film even without watching the first one.

I liked this film. It is packed with blood boiling action sequences. Besides, I am a big fan of Vikram. Yet, the film did not make enough money after the release and eventually became a box office bomb. Vikram is not just an actor but a brilliant actor  who can perform better than most of other Tamil actors. He had proven it time and time again in the past. People expect more from him and a common plot with butt kicking police officer does not suit his abilities for sure. One the other hand, he look older in this film. That look certainly does not suit for this role where he is playing a role of a youngster. Apart from that, the film does not have enough comedy in it. If you are making a tamil film you have to mix action, romance and comedy to a certain level. The main comedian in this film is a very bad choice. He is not capable of make people laugh for sure.

Anyway, the film is total within my expectations. It is definitely not a bad movie after all.
